OUR HISTORY
Apple of His Eye is an amazing odyssey that has spanned almost 20 years. Two decades!
Our history is a story of learning to trust God. Learning that no matter what things look like... if He said it, He will surely do it.
It has been a story of God inviting very ordinary people, in fact even weak people, to partner with Him in His extraordinary purposes (for His land and His people). Jesus said in John 4:23 that the Father is seeking for those who will worship Him in Spirit and in Truth.
Then in Ezekiel we find one of the saddest verses in the Bible. God says:
"And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none."
Well, here we are, Lord! A tiny band of of ordinary people saying “Here we are! We will worship! We will pray! And we know that like in the story of Jehoshaphat you will bring the victory.
