GOLAN, ISRAEL
Many Kibbutzim and Moshavim (Israeli communal settlements) dot the landscape of northern Israel. Beautiful orchards of almost every sort - peaches, plums, nectarines, grapes, and of course, apples - abound. The region of the Golan is also populated by Druze who primarily identify themselves as Syrian due to certain geopolitical pressures.
It is here that we have a tiny English School. An infinitesimal spark no bigger than a match, in a village of an - as of yet - unreached people group with no visible Christian Witness.
